FAQ

  • What is Nam Nguyen’s work about?

My work explores how parenting shapes civilization — blending neuroscience, strategy, and history to understand how the way we raise our children influences leadership, culture, and human progress.

  • What inspired you to write about parenting and civilization?

It began with a simple question I asked myself as both a strategist and a father: What if the greatest lever of change isn’t politics or technology — but parenting? From that reflection grew a lifelong project to connect family, leadership, and societal evolution.

  • Are your books only for parents?

Not at all. My books speak to anyone interested in how humans grow, learn, and lead — from parents and educators to executives and policymakers. Parenting, in my view, is a mirror for leadership at every level.

  • How is your approach different from other parenting authors?

Most parenting books focus on what to do with children. My work focuses on how parenting shapes civilization itself — drawing parallels between raising children and leading organizations or societies.

  • What are your main books?

My published works include Raising Future Leaders, Perfect Parents Don’t Exist, Raising Genius: Mozart, Einstein, Jobs — The Price of Brilliance, and soon-to-be published Kin: A History of Parenting and the Rise of Civilization.

  • How can I contact you or request a speaking engagement?

You can reach me directly through the Contact page or connect via Linkedin. I am open to collaborations, interviews, and events related to parenting, leadership, and societal development.
